The full cost of your repairs, in your stock value
Odoo Repairs consumes parts but knows nothing of the hours spent, and the value of a repaired item never changes. This app adds the labour, the full cost and the margin of every repair, adds the cost of the repairs of your own items to their stock value, and links reworks to the manufacturing order they correct.

Labour
Every hour on the repair
A Labour tab on the repair order. Choose per repair operation type where the hourly cost comes from: the employee (HR hourly cost) or the work center (cost per hour), and change it per line if needed.
Timer
Start Timer / Stop Timer on the repair: the time is recorded on a labour line of the technician.
Employee or work center
A technician at their hourly cost, or a test bench at the cost of the work center, on the same repair.
Default work center
Set on the repair operation type, proposed on every new line.
Locked when done
The labour of a repaired order cannot be changed any more.
Cost and stock value
The repair cost, added to the stock value
The Costs tab shows parts, recovered parts, labour, subcontracting (service purchases linked to the repair), revenue and margin. For your own items, choose Add to the stock value: when the repair is done, its cost is added to the value of the repaired unit, and the journal entry is posted.
Company-owned items
Repairs without customer, or marked as company-owned: rental fleet, refurbishing, customer returns put back in stock.
Like a landed cost
The average cost, the FIFO value or the value of the serial number is updated by Odoo itself.
Accounting
Stock valuation debited, a repair cost absorption account (or the expense account) credited.
Standard cost products
The cost stays in the expenses, and a button updates the standard price with the cost of the repair.
History
The repairs of a serial number, and its value
Every lot and serial number shows the cost of its repairs and, from Odoo 18 (lots valued separately), its value includes them.
Manufacturing
Rework a manufactured product
A Rework button on done manufacturing orders creates a repair of the finished products (or of one serial number), where they are. The order shows its reworks and their total cost.

Good to know
Does it change customer repairs?
No: their cost stays in the expenses. The app adds their labour, cost and margin.
What if the repaired unit has left the stock?
The cost cannot be added to its value: the repair asks you to choose Expense.
Are subcontracted repairs counted?
Yes: the service lines of the confirmed purchase orders linked to the repair.
Which languages?
English and French (also used for fr_BE).
